Tasting Notes:
Arbol de Vida means ‘Tree of Life’. A while back I bought a Hungarian Pinot Grigio in Waitrose. By mistake. They had craftily sectreted in amongst the Italian wines. It looked Italian. It sounded Italian. It tasted awful. Since then the thought of anything other than Italian Pinot Grigio has been an anathema.
However Jeneve Williams has produced some very good Argentinian wines for M&S and when they have 25% off for 6 bottles they are very good value. This was better than most of the £6 offerings available in other shops by a considerable margin and I hope it’s back in stock soon. Crisp, dry, fruit forward.
